christmas>.<

Hi there,

Long time din't update my blog. Hmm..busy? yea...busy on going outside, fun with temple mates.

It's already past 1 week for my term break, and I have not start my study engine yet..T.T because I'm such a playful boy who keep going out from 22nd till today..the Christmas..LOL.

22nd was the last day for the Buddhist youth camp. Well, I'm supposed to send our favorite DM Tsung to airport. After that went to the 'Sky Garden' for dinner. On Bee Lean Teacher's treat..XD...have a cheesy rice dinner there.

Then I have be the Penang girls driver...to bring them around KL with Sherly and Steven as tour guides ( Although we doesn't go many much place) Just went to the Gasoline at Lookout Point. It's the first time I went there and it's a nice place for the lovely couples..But I hate the smoky place. Almost all the people smokes. Sad

The funniest thing is, my bro Alex manage to trick Sherly with a juice, called sky juice. ( just a plain drinking ice water). If you want to know more about it, hmm..ask her..

23rd, have to send the Penang girls to bus station. Their bus departure time is 3.30pm so we manage to bring them to Time Square and Pavillion to took some Christmas pictures. Too bad they can't stay till night.

On 24th, we having a steamboat dinner at Wei Chuan's house. It's the fullest dinner I have so far. Quite a lot of people came, around 20 ppl, got Lee brothers, Aw brothers (me of coz), Hew siblings, Sherly, Mei Keat, Li Min, Zhi Qi, Kenny and Vincent, Zhi De and so on. With 4 drivers, we went to Lookout Point again. Lol. They have no other place to go. After taking the group photo's, we went to another hill for mamak and chit chat until 3pm.

This is the first time I go celebrate christmas with friends. I seldom celebrate Christmas. (Recalled got one time just go to Selayang and chit chat with Yan Pin, Wern Pei)Lolx. Normally we celebrate for New Year Countdown...Damn..I miss my little red car.

25th, I had a bad feeling for going to any shopping mall for movie. It ends up I'm right with my intuition. Bring them to JUSCO Cheras Selatan and end up searching parking for half an hours. From open air parking go till the roof top parking, go down again, we manage to find parking but we could get any tickets for movie...haiz.
We end up sitting at McDonald for fries and ice cream. Then we head back home for rest.

p/s: I'm getting worried when I see my fellow coursemate getting their study engine on. It's scary...I'm scared..help me, save me!!

Broga Hill

Finally, the plan from last year finally come true.

On the 15 Oct, Kam Hing and his house mates, Marcus, Alec , Jackie and his girlfriend, his girlfriend's pharmacy friends and me decided to conquer Broga Hill aka Bukit Lalang in Semenyih. It is a nice place for those who likes adventure. That's me of course. Lolx

We plan to depart on 5.00am, 4.30am have to wake up and prepare and it seems the ladies are always be the latecomers. We depart from our campus's research center at 5.30am to Broga. The entrance to the Broga Hill is very dark and I barely see my hand, we need torch light during the entire journey. It is quite dangerous since the road is quite dangerous and slippery. With the guide of our professional Broga Hill climber, Kam Hing (this is his seven-th time to Broga Hill), we manage to reach the first peak. The wind blows and we feel refreshed after the sweaty hardship we have gone through. So cool nia. So we all took a lot of pictures there, some cam whoring, some emo-ing, and we all waiting for the sun rise. The mighty sun rise slowly and the view is indescribable.

The saddest part is we have to go down after 7.30am since we the mechanical engineering students have class on 9.00am. If time is allowable, we might go to the other two peaks too. There's still always have the chance to go up there again. ^.^
So we went to Broga town to have our breakfast, rush back for shower and school.

Oh Shit?~ (definitely not written by me)

Gonna climb again next time, now they say gt 4 peaks!

Honoring Elders Day

4th Oct, today my temple held an special occasion: Honoring Elders Day. This is the occasion where a lot of elderly came to the temple to have a lunch while we the youths will perform programs to astonish the elderly. It's nice to see them happy and reflect what will happen to us when we grows old.

The Chinese people are known for their filial piety. But in these modern times when parents have only one or two children , the burden of supporting their aged parents lies squarely and heavily on them. It can be a very heavy burden as the children may not be able to give them a good life in return. The children of today have too many debts and many are living below the poverty levels or could not afford to take care of their aged parents who require more medical care and attentions. Some of those who could afford it , send them to those privately run senior citizens home. Some after paying a few months, simply abandoned them there. Those homes are caught in a fix. What if when we grows old, will our children do the same thing to us?

This remind me a story about "Wooden Bowl":

A frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and a four-year old grandson. The old man's hands trembled, his eyesight was blurred, and his step faltered. The family ate together nightly at the dinner table. But the elderly grandfather's shaky hands and failing sight made eating rather difficult. Peas rolled off his spoon onto the floor. When he grasped the glass often milk spilled on the tablecloth. The son and daughter-in-law became irritated with the mess. "We must do something about grandfather," said the son. I've had enough of his spilled milk, noisy eating, and food on the floor. So the husband and wife set a small table in the corner. There, grandfather ate alone while the rest of the family enjoyed dinner at the dinner table. Since grandfather had broken a dish or two, his food was served in a wooden bowl. Sometimes when the family glanced in grandfather's direction, he had a tear in his eye as he ate alone. Still, the only words the couple had for him were sharp admonitions when he dropped a fork or spilled food. The four-year-old watched it all in silence.

One evening before supper, the father noticed his son playing with wood scraps on the floor. He asked the child sweetly, "What are you making?" Just as sweetly, the boy responded, "Oh, I am making a little bowl for you and mama to eat your food from when I grow up." The four-year-old smiled and went back to work. The words so struck the parents that they were speechless. Then tears started to stream down their cheeks. Though no word was spoken, both knew what must be done. That evening the husband took grandfather's hand and gently led him back to the family table.

For the remainder of his days he ate every meal with the family. And for some reason, neither husband nor wife seemed to care any longer when a fork was dropped, milk spilled, or the tablecloth soiled. Children are remarkably perceptive. Their eyes ever observe, their ears ever listen, and their minds ever process the messages they absorb. If they see us patiently provide a happy home atmosphere for family members, they will imitate that attitude for the rest of their lives. The wise parent realizes that every day that building blocks are being laid for the child's future.

Let us all be wise builders and role models. Take care of yourself, ... and those you love, ... today, and everyday!

Happy Moon Cake Festival 1

3th Oct, is kinda busy day for me. I had to go to my dad's company to do data entry so I did contribute to the company since I'm a little director of the company. After that I had to go Deng Bi An temple to eat lunch and fetch my little sister to school for her robotic class...why I don't have 1 of these activities in my childhood?? lol...was late for half an hour due to massive traffic jam from Jalan Ampang to MRR2.

After that, my dad bring me to Subang to test the second hand 1996 Iswara, which soon will be mine. Kinda satisfied with it since the car only sold for RM5.5k. It's cheap and need some touch-up to make it nicer. Of course need to change the radio player since in this era we wouldn't be using cassette player right?!
Today Doris held a birthday party in her house in Pandan Indah. I don't know why, but the traffic still jam all the way from Ukay to Pandan Indah..hmm..maybe the Chinese start to visit their family to celebrate Mid Autumn. I used around one and half hour to reach the bday girl's party. The food was nice and have a lot of chit chat with my friends. It's fun to hang out with friends and 'blow water'.

Well..this year is the 1st year where I didn't celebrate Mid Autumn Festival with my family. I used to play candles and lanterns with my cousins, eat moon cakes, riddles, drink Chinese tea. Since both my little brothers went to CTTB (in USA) to study, the house seems quite a lot. Well..at least my mum will bring my little sister to aunty's house for celebration.

It might be too late to put up this post and wishes, but I sincerely wish my readers a Happy Moon Cake aka mid autumn festival!!!!!

A day without gas

Time seems passing by slowly for me. Now it's already second day of school and there's nothing much to do since this is the 1st week of autumn semester. The only class which having fast progression is Differential equations and Calculus for Engineers by Ms Thong.

She still the same, feeling hot with her coat on whereas the students with casual wear freezing in the lecturer hall and something funny happen. A student start to tell her to take off her coat so she won't be feeling hot and we can higher the air-con temperature. So she replied to him, " Why you so hamsap one, want people take off their clothes. I should tell your director." All with laughter.XD

Gosh...the lunch for today is very expensive. RM 6.50 with three dishes. T.T and the dishes doesn't taste nice at all..I want back the stall from last year...only with RM 3.80 I can have the same portions of food for my lunch. Haiz...I gonna complain if they still charge me so high for my lunch tomorrow.

I think I'm gonna sport-active for this week except tomorrow where the class will be end at 6 in the evening. Today went to play badminton with my course mates. Sweat a lot and feel refreshed! Lolx...

Well..my house run out of gas. I still have to solve my dinner because the vegetables I brought can't stand any longer. What can I cook without using gas stove? That's a big challenge for me. So I decided to make '金瓜焖饭' using pumpkin, bell pepper, long beans and rice using rice cooker. In the end, I put too much water and it becomes like half rice half porridge. I added a piece of cheese on it too. Lolx. Still taste good for me. XP

Tesco Semenyih

Hi everyone, it's kinda bored for me now after went to tesco for a little shopping.

Today around 6pm, I went to campus together with Kay Hong and Yong Han for swimming whereas other people were busy with their house cleaning. After 1 hour of swimming, Jackie and Yung Hui came and together we go to Tesco Semenyih to buy some stuff. Before we go to Tesco, we went to cari makan 1st and we went to the only mamak restaurant near Tesco. There were some food caught my attention:

1. Roti Tiga Rasa: Does this roti give us three kind of sensation? Lol. They only put planta, sugar and kaya in the roti. Since I can't eat egg, but one thing for sure is that this roti gonna be very very very sweet. Hope other people won't get diabetes for eating this.

2. Roti I Love U: I go ask the 'roti chef' and found out that it just a typical roti milo...Lol..i wonder what kind of background story it have for the shop owner to name it as Roti I Love U.

3. Pizza Kampung: Mamak stall selling pizza? This still is a mystery since the mamak can't really explain what kind of pizza it is. Maybe one of you can tell me if you went to that mamak restaurant to eat it.

4. Naan Benti: Naan Benti is made of Naan with lady fingers. I didn't ordered for it because I can't imagine the taste of it.

So I end up ordered one Cheese Naan and one Honey Naan with teh tarik kurang manis. The cup for the teh tarik seems very small for me but it does taste good like what Kay Hong said, " Quantity is more important than quality."

The other three ordered maggie goreng and maggie goreng ayam. Both of my naan came already and theirs haven come. Lolx. They have to wait a little longer for their turn. And their maggie goreng are super spicy as if the chillies are free. After the dinner, we went to shopping.

Hmm..before I went to Tesco, I said to myself that I have to buy the air pump for my bicycle.. and I end up forgetting it..Damn..what a day.

First day of second year

Today is the first day of my second year school life in University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus. Hmm..everything seems as usual except it's getting too crowded or should I say that the intake is increased. No wonder all the rental fees around the campus also increased.

Even when I go for my lunch around 1 o clock, I should be able to get some vegetables dishes from the vegetarian stall but today, I only managed to get fried stuff and curry which doesn't taste nice at all. I prefer something green rather than these oily stuff. I packed and went to Broga with my friends. They went there to eat 'pan mee' and I ordered ABC for my drinks. Maybe uncle auntie haven't suits themselves after three months without serving that much of students. So we end up waiting around 1 hours only get out turns. Lolx

After that I went back to campus and checked for my MQA subjects results - Malaysian Studies and Moral Studies. Luckily I get B for both subjects..XD..no need to retake.

Well..it's time for me to sign off because I'm going to swimming with my buddies around 5pm. Chaox

Bored

Yesterday, I can't had a good night sleep, maybe because I moved back to hostel in Taman Tasik Semenyih or just the bed not so comfortable compared to my home sweet home. Haiz..tired yet not feeling to sleep.

Alarm rang on 7 and I woke up on 8.15am...after finish business then I make my simple breakfast: Oat

I will make this breakfast when I'm lazy to cook..making Oat meal breakfast is very easy:
1st- Prepare instant oat, saturated milk
2nd- Boil some hot water
3rd- Put the amount of instant oat you want and saturated milk for it sweetness, then pour the hot water.
Tada..my breakfast is ready to eat. You can add some raisin, strawberry, banana or nuts according your taste. Milo oat meal taste good too..XD ( Don't have photo la..It's already in my stomuch when I post this )

Customizing my blog is kinda hard since I'm the first timer a.k.a nooby...try to edit it to become better and nicer blog.

Superhuman

This is my favourite song recently other than BEP:

Title: Superhuman
Artist: Chris Brown ft. Keri Hilson
Album: Exclusive: The Forever Edition

Weak
I have been crying and crying for weeks
How'd I survive when I can barely speak
Barely eat, On my knees

But that's the moment u came to me
I don't know what your love has done to me
Think I'm invincible
I see though the me I used to be

You changed my whole life
Don't know what your doing to me with your love
I'm feeling all super human, you did that to me
A super human heart beats in me
Nothing can stop me here with you
Super human (I feel so superhuman X2)
Super human

Strong
Since I've been flying and righting the wrongs
Feels almost like I've had it all along
And I can see tomorrow

Where every problem is gone because
I flew everywhere with love inside of me
It's unbelievable to see how love can set me free

You changed my whole life
Don't know what your doing to me with your love
I'm feeling all super human, you did that to me
A super human heart beats in me
Nothing can stop me here with you
Super human (I feel so superhuman X2)
Super human

It's not a bird, not a plane
It's my heart and it's going, gone away
My only weakness is you
Only reason is you
Every minute with you
I can feel like I can do anything
Going going, I'm gone away in love

You changed my whole life
Don't know what your doing to me with your love
I'm feeling all super human, you did that to me
A super human heart beats in me
Nothing can stop me here with you
Super human

Super human

HI

Good morning everyone,

Finally I create a blog..haha..I wanted to create a blog since last year but I keep find excuses for me not to create..the excuses are:
  • I will be very busy
  • I think blogging is wasting time
  • Don't have Internet in my hostel
Now I create this blog to share my feeling and my adventure with everyone who concerned. Since tomorrow will be my school reopening for my second year of University life, I hope I will regularly update my little blog.
